Through the use of modern digital methods, it is now possible
for Kingdom Images to repair
your old and cherished
photographs without
further damaging the original. A good
old family snapshot that has
seen the test of time can become a revitalised
photograph by simply fixing a few flaws.

The original photograph is first digitised using a scanner. The scanned
image is then restored to the best possible condition
by digital processing software and then re-printed onto
high quality photo paper. Image restoration or photo repair is always
done by hand, using the latest industry standard graphics software.
During a typical digital photo
restoration or photo enhance, we would normally adjust contrast,
sharpness, and colour levels. We would also remove scratches and replace
missing or damaged areas. In short, we will do whatever is
necessary to produce the best possible results.
Image
manipulation is also possible where objects or people can be added or
removed from pictures.

Before a restoration proceeds
we will provide you with a firm quotation for the work, based on an
hourly rate plus materials. It is advised that all photographs are
adequately packed and sent to us by recorded delivery. Similarly,
we will return the original and restored prints to you by recorded
delivery. Please note we cannot be held liable for loss or damage to
originals during their transit.
If you can supply us directly
with high-resolution colour scans of the original(s) (subject to our
verification) either by email or disk, the process can be completed
at a reduced cost and without further risk to the originals.
